Test Description
The ritual of Astrological Alignment has been known for as long as anyone can remember. As the ritual is completed, the two participants will immediately sense a special bond, or lack thereof.

Ritual of Astrological Alignment:
* Priest #1: Candle on Left Pillar
* Priest #1: Candle on Left Focus
* Priest #2: Candle on Right Focus
* Priest #2: Candle on Right Pillar
* Finally: Candles are lit in the order placed, by the Priest who placed each one.

Tasks
*Check the spiritual connection between you and another at a Common Altar
*Find 5 Aligned People
*Find 15 Aligned People
*Find 30 Aligned people
*Find 45 Aligned People
*Complete the Alignment ritual with 5 connected people from all three Houses or just your House at a University of Natural Philosophy

Additional Information
In this test, the goal is to be part of a group of five people, all of whom are "astrologically aligned" with one another. All five people then pass the test simultaneously. Each member of the group must not have already passed the Test of Astrological Alignment with anyone in the current group before.

Alignment
"Alignment" is a quality shared (or not shared) between two people.

There is roughly a 1/3 chance that any given two people are aligned with each other.

Alignment (or lack thereof) is a separate quality for every pair: if Person A is aligned with Person B, and Person B is aligned with Person C, it is not necessarily true that Person A is aligned with Person C.

Testing Alignment
Alignment between two people can be determined by a simple ritual performed at a Common Altar:

*First person places a Candle on the left pillar.
*First person places a candle on the left focus.
*Second person places a candle on the right focus.
*Second person places a candle on the right pillar.
*First person lights the candle on the left pillar.
*First person lights the candle on the left focus.
*Second person lights the candle on the right focus.
*Second person lights the candle on the right pillar.

After the ritual, each participant will receive a message. If they "have a feeling of emptiness", they are not aligned; if they "feel a connection", they are.

Helper
Sabuli's tracking tool

Talent Points
* Find 5 Aligned People (1 point)
* Find 15 Aligned People (1 point)
* Find 30 Aligned People (1 point)
* Find 45 Aligned People (1 point)

Complete the Alignment Ritual with 5 Connected people from all three factions—This will give the last points left to get to 7 Total Talent points-- (Note faction requirement is a change for t9)

Note that if a group is found and completed before the player has found 15, 30 or 45 aligned people, passing the test will give however many Talent Points are required to give a total of 7 for the whole test. For example, if a player has found 15 aligned people (for 2 Talent Points) and then passes the test, they will receive 5 extra Talent Points to give a total of 7. It is not necessary to find 45 aligned people in order to pass the test, some people have passed having only ever aligned with their group of 5.

Passing the Test
Once a group of five coaligned people has assembled (i.e. each person in the group is aligned with the other four), they must visit a University of Natural Philosophy, each carrying one Medium Quartz. One person must pay a medium quartz to start the group check for astrological alignment, the other four then verify alignment as a part of that group within a few minutes (also paying a medium quartz each). If the group is indeed coaligned, all five will then pass the test simultaneously.

NOTE for Tale 9: Find other people who's (sic) Astrological Alignment aligns with yours. All Three Factions must be represented—This is information found on Tasks menu (checkmark icon)when you hover over test graphic—blondie, Sept 28, 2019--

To prospect for quarries: 2 players stand on the same EW coordinate, 30 coordinates apart. Player 1 has the slate. You stay parallel, checking every 30 cords as you slowly walk north. When you get a 2 break on the slate, that means the quarry spot is in the circle that the 2 players are on the opposite sides of. The goal is to make that circle smaller and smaller until you are standing on top of each other.

At the 2 break, player 1 stops and stands still, and player 2 moves 1/2 way to player 1 and stands still. You are going to figure out which part of that first big circle the quarry is in, by testing in each section NSEW of the big circle. Do this by having player 2 stand still, player 1 tries 15 cords N, then S then E then W of player 2. When you get 2 break, now you have a new smaller circle that you know the quarry is in. Each time you have a 2 break, use the same process by having player 2 move 1/2 way to player 1, and player 1 tests in each direction to see the next new smaller circle.

It helps to zoom out and visually see that the 2 players are gradually making the circle smaller and smaller until you are standing on top of each other.

If you can't find a 2 break after your first successful 2 break, then it may be because the quarry spot is on the far edge of a coordinate and so your circle is a little bit too small. Add a coordinate between players to make the circle a bit larger and retest until you find the 2 break.
