The '''Solid Progress''' task is started upon completion of the [[New Beginnings]] task.

The task requires the player to:
* Gather [[Wood]] from a [[Trees|Tree]]
* Build a [[Wood Plane]] out of [[Slate]] and a [[Slate Blade]]
* Plane [[Wood]] to form [[Board]]s
* Gather [[Grass]]
* Drop [[Grass]] on the Ground to dry into [[Straw]]
* Gather [[Mud]]
* Gather [[Sand]]
* Form a [[Flimsy Brick Mould|Brick Mould]] using [[Board]]s
* Make [[Bricks]] using a [[Flimsy Brick Mould|Brick Mould]]

== Completion ==
Upon completing the fourth step, "Gather Grass", the [[Grass Harvesting]] skill is learned.

Upon completing the eight step, "Form a Brick Mould using Boards", the [[Brick Making]] skill is learned.

Completion of this task begins the [[Flax Growing]] task.

== Hints ==
For the step "Drop [[Grass]] on the Ground to dry into [[Straw]]", this will show done once the grass has turned into straw. Drop small numbers, as each additional grass will increase the time taken to dry.

For the step "Make [[Bricks]] using a brick Mould", this will show done once the wet bricks has dried into [[Bricks]]. This takes between 50 and 55 seconds.
