-I started playing just before the end of Telling 2. I was a prominent player in Tale 3, including become DP and leading the Architecture Monument. After T3 I took a long break, and returned soon after I learned that Plurbius had bought the game out (late T6). I've been playing regularly since. The two things I like most about ATITD are the incredible community and the wide variety of things to do. For example, if I work closely with someone to teach them everything they need to know about passing the Tst of Towers, they will have learned absolutely nothing about passing the test of Safari. Learn to be the best at crossbreeding --- but blacksmithing is utterly different. And so on...

-I am largely skeptical. They have done a great job of getting players much more involved in research donation. But they have also taken a relatively small player base and spit it into even smaller pieces. The tribute system in particular has generated a lot of ill-will in what used to be friendly rivalry at worst. I'm glad Apophis is planning major changes in how Tribute works -- but the system as a whole seems to be driving more players away (and putting the current ones at each other's throats) than attracting new ones.

- Q3. Elder is one of the Leadership Tests, do you want to just past the Test or you are running to help Hyksos faction prosper and grow?

-I plan to persue serveral leadership tests. In T3 Yendor ended as Sage of Leadership (6 tests passed -- not Cartouche), and in T7 Yendor was Oracle of Leadership. I anticipate I will pass many of the Leadership tests in T8 as well. I have often said that the Leadership discipline has very little to do with actual leadership. In both T3 and T7 I had founded an aqueduct guild that passed hundreds of people before ever being elected as "leader" in a test. Similarly, I have helped establish zFree this telling, contributed to research, organized events, made suggestions on Discord, etc without needing any test passes to do so.
