Macros is the generic term for any program that does something for you in-game that means you don't need to manually do it.

Whilst most games don't allow for this in online games, '''A Tale in the Desert''' allows them on one caviat - you don't go AFK (Away from Keyboard). What this means is that if you use a Macro, you MUST be at your computer, and must respond to any Game Master who speaks to you. You will know when this happens, as the chat box will have GM: followed by their name on it, and they will sport a banner over their avatar head that clearly defines them to be a Game Master.
