I have so far been unable to get the windows client to run using wine (the linux windows emulator. I am working on getting macros working with the linux client, but have made little progress so far. There is a linux lua program for running straight lua scripts. There is much work to be done on these things. Also if there are enough other linux users it would good to have a Linux guild hall. We are in the Red Sea and have a guild hall called hall ("Deir el Bahri").
