Zalea's Homestead

Located at 2058, 1385 a few minutes south of Avaris

Zal's orchard and winery is now available to the guild.

The orchard currently has 78 unique varieties of citrus (listed below). New trees will be guilded as they are created.

The warehouse and 10 wine barrels on the west side of the building are guilded. More wine barrels will be added when there is a demand for them.

There are currently 19 varieties of grape vine available for use. There are currently 36 vineyards in the area with more to come.

Vineyards along the sides of the CP are to be for vine cuttings only. There is one of every variety we have on hand. Take a cutting any time you need.

Papyrus Tanks

Replant with 28 seeds each after a harvest, the seeds are in the warehouse at 1451,2775. Do not let the seed supply go below 100 seeds. If the seeds are getting low, and you do not have the time to do a pappy run, please let us know so that we can re-stock the seed supply.

The best growing time seems to be around 8:30 pm game time. There is a nice papyrus growing area to the North of camp starting at 1456, 2995, just follow the signs.

The best drying time seems to be between Midnight and 2:00 am. There are public drying racks at 854, 2995 the route up the mountain starts at 1030, 2121.

Camp Decorations

Camp beautification is an ongoing project. Currently we have several different flowers (Sea Lilies and Sand Blooms) placed around camp. If you have a minute and would like to help by fertilizing the flowers, there is flower fertilizer in the Misc warehouse. As the collection grows, the demand for fertilizer will grow. If you have an abundance of whole or rotten fish you could donate them to the cause as well. If you have a spare bulb that you would like to donate, especially if it is a flower type that we don't have yet, either pick a nice place and plant it or you can drop it in the WH. Please do not harvest the petals, as this kills the flower. Once we have a decent amount of camp flowers that are producing bulbs we can consider harvesting petals if somebody needs them.

There are several Art & Music and Though tests that require the construction of nice structures that would make for great camp decorations. Dancing Waters Fountains, Prismatic Opticons, Tome of the Immortals to name a few. If you would like to complete any of these tests you are welcome to place you building in or near camp, just check with the leadership to make sure that there is not a planned expansion in the spot you choose. Many other guilds have their members place all of these buildings together... Rows of Tome of the Immortal pyramids, Night Sky Tables ect. We do not want to do this, as it is unattractive and can begin to look cluttered over time. We would rather they be relatively scattered around the area to make for an interesting and nice looking camp.
