Instructions
When you arrive, please chat Nixis who will add you to the queue of stationary positions and give you a number. After enough people have shown up and been added to the queue, you will also be given an altar number (up to 6 altars, depending on the number of hosts and the number of persons who show up to test). Please proceed to that altar (see map) where a host will be responsible for mantaining a queue at each individual altar.
At an Altar Station
1. The host will call out who is in the Stationary position. This person will move to the right side of the altar and will then perform the Alignment Ritual (see below) with everyone else at that altar, starting with the host.
2. If you have for whatever reason already tested with the Stationary participant, simply step out of line until the next person in the queue is called up.
2. After the Stationary participant has tested with everyone else at the altar, he or she will be sent to a new altar by the host.
3. The arriving person will be placed into the local Altar queue based on the people present at the local queue as well as their overall position in the global queue.
4. Once you have been to each altar station once, you are finished. You may either continue to rotate to test with any stragglers or individuals who you might have missed, or check for groups of five using Sabuli's alignment helper: [1]
Ritual Instructions
Facing the altar, the stationary position places a candle first on the right pillar and then on the right focus (hand). The rotating position places a candle on the left focus followed by the left hand.
In the same order, the stationary position lights the candles, followed by the rotating position.
You should get a message about a connection or a feeling of emptiness. Please report this in main so it can be recorded.
For the Hosts
When a person rotates, they get rotated to the altar with the shortest queue that they haven't yet been to OR (in the beginning) to the next numerical alter if the queues are all even. The host will announce "sending X to Y" so the Y host knows and respond.
Origin host will then copy the name to the end of the queue of the destination alter and italicize the text (may need to insert a new row).
Origin host will then indicate on the global queue that the person has been to their altar.
The destination host will then be responsible for slotting them up higher according to the initial queue number.
They should be slotted in at the third spot from current or lower (depending on number).
Destination host then makes the text normal instead of italicized.
So let's say queue person 7 gets rotated from Alter 1 to alter 2. Alter 2's queue looks like this:
5,9,12,15,18,20
They would get inserted where 12 currently is. The queue becomes 5,9,7,12,15,18,20
If the queue looked like: 2,4,6,12,15 it would become 2,4,6,7,12,15 (they'd rotate to the 4th spot since they're number is larger than 6).
