How to: Set heater to Gradual. Turn constantly. Don't worry about the bottom or the tip, +8k can be achieved with this procedure: Push into the Glory Hole one tick at a time, letting the rod heat all the way in. When the rod is fully heated, either let it stay, or pull it all the way back out, by holding down A. Let the rod cool a bit, until colour seems the same the entire length of the rod. Blow at least 4 times, maybe a fifth, depending on the resulting size.
