Our guild is most importantly a social hub for members. zFree aims to provide the facilities that enable us all to achieve our individual and collective goals, including regional research.
Guild Expectations
We are a large guild, so it is important that we all follow some common guidelines:
- No drama in the guild-chat. If you have a problem with someone, please take it to private chat.
- Collaborate with courtesy: Always ask if something doesn't make sense.
- No personal buildings in the zFree camp, except for designated items in designated areas
- A single box or chest can be placed in the Post Office compound
- Use the Art and Thought Compound for your test buildings, or use the area nearby
- Please use guild materials appropriately.
- Individual projects, you should bring your own materials wherever possible. Failing that, bring raw materials to make the end products.
- Guild and Regional projects, check with an Elder for collections that have been made towards the projects.
- If you can donate, please do - you may find something easy, whereas someone else might find it hard.
- Nothing is too small to donate, right down to wood, clay and grass, everything is needed.
- Give and take: Donations are always welcome, particularly if you've benefited from the guild's resources - look for the warehouses!
- Herbs, Mushrooms, Fish - these are needed by the cooks to make the food.
- Harvesting the greenhouses really helps, your quick click "Harvest" can feed a camel for a day!
- Grabbed some spare wood? Please add to the bonfires. Wood goes quickly (so many things need charcoal!)
- Respect the Environment: No pollution near the designated flax and veggies growing areas.
- If in doubt, please ask an Elder.
Startup Projects
1. Guild Expansion
Towards the beginning of the tale, the cost of guild expansion limits the number of people who can join. There will be a 'joining fee' of bricks and boards, to facilitate fast guild expansion.
Materials needed
- Minimum donation for membership is 250 Bricks, 200 Boards and 20 Slate - items to be loaded in the Guild Hall and nearby storage and verified by an Elder. Additional donations most welcome. The actual costs for expansion of the Guild to 250 members, and our progress towards that goal is as follow:

Warning - Technical information! Adding one space in a guild costs (N2 + 4N + 52) boards and (2*N2 + 8N + 54) bricks, which of course makes it expensive after 50 or so members. To streamline the costs, we will upgrade in batches, because this is most economical of resources. So, please donate bricks and boards, whatever you can manage - no donation is too small!
Membership
Once accepted to the guild, we work with four levels of membership:
Guild Facilities: The T8 Plan
Resources
Once we find locations of the various resources, the best ones for the guild will be listed in this section
Sub-Guilds
- zElders - guild just for the Elders, this is used by elders to discuss anything related to the guild
