Soda (sodium carbonate) is a powdery substance used to make Soda Glass products.
Sources
Soda is acquired as a byproduct while collecting Limestone. On average, gathering limestone will also yield 1 soda about 25% of the time.

Melted in a Glazier's Bench with Lime and Sand to produce Soda Glass. 2 soda, along with 1 lime and 10 sand, is required for each deben of glass.
