It seems the ouput follows the following rules :
+
Outputs are:
* Butter = (Jugs of Cows Milk)/5, rounded down
+
* 1 Butter for every 5 Milk used
* Buttermilk = (Jugs of Cows Milk)/2, rounded down
+
* 1 Buttermilk for every 2 Milk used
 +

The most optimum yield is when you use 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 milk. Any other amount of milk will result in rounding losses.

Butter and Jugs of Buttermilk using Jugs of Cows Milk Notes:

  • Requires at least 10 Jugs of Cows Milk to process
    • Per Malard - past the minimum, the more Milk added, the more difficult the ensuing End Timer will be.
    • Tests have shown this to not be true, or at least the difference is so small it cannot be seen. /McArine
  • Takes number of Milk + 1 Churns to complete the batch
  • Jug is returned and milk disappears inside, no way to track how much is there.
    • Per Malard - this will be updated soon to show contents.
  • Jugs of Sour Cows Milk are not usable in the churn at Cheese Making 1 (Malard stated there is not a School lesson for additional ranks)

Once complete, two options are available

  • Take... will let you take the butter
  • Drain the Buttermilk will let you fill your jugs with Buttermilk.
