Player Biography

I have played since the Weekend Play Test. Currently, I am Oracle of the Human Body. I have played under several names before finally deciding on Eugie and Eugenius. Eugie is my alt. T7 is the only tale in which I have not had an alt for the full tale.

Chicken Observation

I currently manage 6 chicken coops. I have attempted to find a reliable rate for hatching eggs. Here are the following set ups and results I have used:

  • After 24 Egypt hours and at about 6 AM, 20 hens produced 20 eggs. Slats at 1/2 open
  • After 24 Egypt hours and at about 6 AM, 1 rooster and 1 hen produced 6 eggs. Slats at 1/2 open
  • After 24 Egypt hours and at about 6 AM, 2 roosters and 14 hens didn't yield any eggs. (Slats at mostly open. Needs more testing, possible error)
  • After 24 Egypt hours and at about 6 AM, 3 roosters and 17 hens produced 12 eggs. (Slats at mostly closed. Needs more testing, possible error)
  • After 24 Egypt hours and at about 6 AM, 20 eggs produced 15 hens (some eggs was added during the day) Slats 1/2 open.

Conclusion, the optimum set up appears to be 20 hens per coop for laying eggs. 40 eggs per coop to hatch 20 eggs on a regular hatching cycle. Slats to be set at 1/2 open.
