Hathor Recipes

From A Wiki in the Desert

On this page, I am gathering a handy-dandy list of beer recipes for Hathor ambrosia. Clicking on the title of each flavor will take you to the beer database's sorted list of those VP Flavors.

Hathor requires an ambrosia of Very Potent (flavor) beer and cobra's blood, and some other stuff that will be set up at the altar for everyone to utilize. Like all ambrosia, it is made in a kitchen, in ten minutes, by any player who has learned the Ambrosia Brewing skill. So far, I have seen no evidence that Hathor will not request an ambrosia made from beer containing at least one of the following flavors:

Banana

  • Very Potent Fruity Dry, Noticeable Banana
    • 1551, 1851: Start: 120 H. @ 12: 15 RM. Open Kettle
  • Very Potent Fruity Beer. Hint Barley, Noticeable Banana
    • Yeast 43: Start 55 MM, 100 H, @50: 5 RM (Asyut 1279, 2433 @1500)

Barley

  • Plenty of choices. On the database, there are a dozen locations with VP Barley recipes.

Cherry

  • Very Potent Fruity, Hint of Date, Hint of Cherry
    • 1023, 7422: Start: 20 MM, 107 H. @12: 10 LW. Open Kettle

Cinnamon

  • Very Potent Spicy, Hint of Cinnamon
    • 3584, 4993: Start: 50 H. @ 50: 80 MM. Open Kettle
  • Very Potent Spicy, Hint of Cinnamon
    • 3584, 4993: Start: 135 H. @ 50: 20 RM. Open Kettle - untested

Date

Don't brew specifically for this flavor. Waiting to see if Hathor wants it this tale

  • at last check, the beer database had 8 recipes for VP Date beers. The VP Cherry beer recipe on this page also includes Date flavor.
  • Very Potent Fruity, Hint of Date
    • 1283, 3085: Start: 120 H. @ 100: 20 LW. @ 50: 20 LM. Open Kettle

Honey

  • Plenty of choices: on the database, there are 18 locations with recipes for VP Honey beers.
  • The recipes below for Nutmeg and Orange also include Honey.
    • 3071, -6270: @ 5: 130 MW, 60H. Open Kettle

Nutmeg

  • Very Potent Fruity Dry Brown, Hint of Honey, Hint of Nutmeg. Should work at any location where Yeast-56 is isolated.
    • 771, -970: Start: 20 BM. @ 325: 120 H. @ 12: 2 LM, 7 RM. Seal at 1800
  • Very Potent Beer, Hint of Honey, Hint of Nutmeg. Should work at any location where Yeast-56 is isolated.
    • Yeast-56: @ 600: 120 H. @ 50: 10 RM - untested

Orange

  • Very Potent Dry, Hint of Honey, Hint of Orange. Should work at any location where Yeast-16 is isolated.
    • 639, -7551 : @400: 130 H. @ 50: 10 LM. Seal at 1200

Notes for all flavors

  • The beer must be Very Potent (alcohol level of 1200 or more)
  • The flavor requested must be at least "a hint" which is 200 or more. If it is listed in the first line of the report, it will work.
  • A second flavor is not a problem, but I do not think a "muddled" beer will work. (If somebody wants to try, let me know if it works!)
  • Spoiled (old) beers are fine. If it is in a barrel, it can be made into one ambrosia.
  • Please label ambrosia with all flavors it contains. All ambrosia for Hathor use cobra blood as the simple ingredient.
