How do I feel about things?

I'm sure you didn't come asking, but I'm going to type it out because I think it's important.

Don't join later in a Tale. I came along 8? months into Tale 8 and while it's VERY nice to have actual development happening again, there are huge drawbacks to playing right now.

Sure there are a few friendly people and they will give you things that they already have tons of stockpiled, but you won't get:

Tests requiring multiple people at low levels. Everyone still around has already done them or doesn't care to do them.

You won't get an actual spouse. Pay that subscription twice.

You won't get group activities: Digging for stones? Everyone has already done that so much themselves that they'll just tell you to eat Endurance food and grab a shovel. Very social.

Acro lines? There were 8 people at the last one, most of them alts/mules. Exciting.

I mean I love the ranch/cattle/pigs/milk/cheese that was added, but I was in no way ready for it. Why? Because I wasn't here for the Pepper seed event and couldn't afford to spend days growing peppers to feed my cows.

People only log in to check on their animals and log out again. People log in to check their test passes and log out again.

Previously, when I brought up social events (digs for stone, cement stirs, acro), well, the faction system is here. For some reason the majority has gone along with it, if you didn't pick their faction, get out of their face. Yes, there are a few exceptions.

The population is so low right now, where did everyone go this early in a Tale? As far as I could discern, Raeli tech is fairly new, you'd think people would be excited but it appears not.

It's difficult to fit in with a social group when no one needs to be social anymore. Joining too late in a Tale relegates you to 2nd citizen status, it's always been that way and continues to be that way.

I would love to hit up Tale 9 with a full Tale sub, maybe then I wouldn't be an odd person out, but I'd probably have to use a different name, I'm sure after my destruction of all my personal buildings today, and leaving the mess I left (which should honestly bother no one), well the sweeper will be busy there later, unless some lucky person realizes there's free things.

Be more welcoming, be more physically helpful. Get rid of the factions. It wasn't a good idea. Keep the cheese. Have more events wherein even the new kids have a chance to play. If I'm 'playing' a full time job, I want equal 'pay'. Just because I was late doesn't mean I should be punished.
