Hello And welcome to my spot on the wiki.

TheDesserters

Probably a lot of gibberish about my tests and skills and goals will come here as we #discover whats new in T8

The below is a start to write down Ideas I have.

IDEAS

Common

Make ( once off WI) a way ingame to toggle:

  • Collect grass when I walk
  • Collect Clay when I walk( and have water in jugs in inventory)
  • Collect Slate when I walk

--These are to let people off the heaving clicking things that are needed in the beginning. To not say "Use macro" when people ask in chat

Limestone gathering needs to change. Just standing there hitting a button is no fun at all. At a dig you have the social aspect, but when Limestoning you are on your own, far away from camp. So a new minigame somehow.

Make Barley yields to be increased somehow without passing Worship tests.

Make a visual change to the Flaxbed when you can harvest Seeds from it.

Upgrade to Water mines: Put a net that collects the gems, however a max of 5 and anyone can collect them from the net, and it won't say who used the water mine the latest.

Upgrade to Beer Brewing: Let you set a timer for when to close the lid. And then yet another upgrade to install a hopper to time when you add ingredients.

Papyrus Rake: If in your inventory you get a larger pick length

  • First made out of Thorns, then later an updated version that uses Nails that don't break as often.

Blacksmithing Scythe: so we can make higher quality Scythes

Blacksmithing Butcher knife: The better butcher knife, the more meat/leather/oil/insects from slughtered animals

Upgrades to Kettles, so you can do more at the same time, instead of making more Kettles. i.e a bigger kettle that is 4 times the size so you can make 20 potash in.

Faction

New players should be able to switch Factions if they happen to land far away from friends etc.

  • But they will have to Unlearn all Uni-techs, to avoid mule tech theft.

Old Players should be able to use a petition to swap to a new Faction.

  • 25 players from new faction have to sign.
  • Then a faction-wide vote for 48 duckhours for the people to decide if they want the player or not.
  • Loose all Uni-tech info. As a way for the new faction member to learn where all teh Univeristies lie.
  • Alternativly you must get 50% votes from the new faction to be let in, and 50% from the OLD faction, to be able to move like this, and keep the Uni-Tech.

Let Elders set what gives + and - in faction. I.e Tributes, Teaching, tests, levels, donating to research.

Let players be able to build a voting booth at the home, that is attuned to their faction. No matter if the region they live in is owned by their faction or not.

New regional based building, that will give regional chat to the area when you enter.

If you check your great hall, you should get a list of areas under your factions control, What( if any) Perk there is there, What tribute is needed for next week.

Let an initiate be able to build a very small version of chancery, that can always be built, but which only covers about 50*50 coords. so that it will only cover their camp.

Tribute Wars

Tributes at the start of the week be worth more then at the end of the week. ( 2* first 2 days, 1*in the middle of the week, 0,5*the last 2 days)

A bonus if the area is adjacent to one of your 3 home regions.(*2)

If a faction owns more then 10 regions, then no defender bonus.(you loose the *2)

If a faction owns more then 20 regions, you get a hit to defender bonus even.(*0,5 to all tributes)

Tests

Keep Body perks as it is. But other tests should make you pickup a "Perks Tree" Where you can choose some personal perks. for exempel:

  • Blacksmithing boost( like the one now for Art)
  • Glasswork boost(same like blacksmithing, but for Glory Hole)
  • Bigger Compounds( like Architecture now)
  • Increased TT(1,2*TT, 1,4*TT or something like that)
  • decreased Cost to jump to Exp Site/ Nav point
  • Green Fingers( give more Barley, unless it is fixed some other way)
  • Grape Tender( Gives more grapes when harvested or when tending)
  • Flower power( Gives a boost to your tending when you fertilize flowers)

And every one should have like 7-8 steps where you get better, so you can speiziale, or branch out and be good at some differet things. and you get to put in a point per test completed.

Body

Make Beduin work more like Cicadas, so you get more info how you are doing, and even the progress, so that you can work on it casually just like cicadas.

Thought

  • let there be a way to send your thought building to a place like the spirit arena, And you need to send it every 2 weeks or so. ( not extremely costly, but enough so that you just don't send it by default)
  • Be able to build regional thought spirit building to send you to the thought spirit plane, where you can easly play all the thought games sent there.
  • You can still play and go to the orginal in Egypt aswell.

Art

New Test: test of the Master Blacksmith

  • Every week you get a new goal to make, new goals. You get to the university to take out your special test metal.
  • you can scrap it indefinatly, but once you have taken it out that is it for the week
  • every week you need to hand in to the university.
  • The top 10 every week get the Quality added to their total.
  • The rest get Quality/10 added to total
  • you need 25k points to pass.

New Test: test of the Master Glassblower

  • Every week you get a new goal to make, new goals. You get to the university to take out your special test glass.
  • you can re-heat it for ever, but once you have taken it out that is it for the week
  • every week you need to hand in to the university.
  • The top 10 every week get the Quality added to their total.
  • The rest get Quality/10 added to total
  • you need 25k points to pass.
