Elder Elections Amendment Act:
This Law will reduce the length of each round of an Elder Election to 2 days(48hrs) Permanently.
For rounds that have multiple groups:
In the event that ALL eligible (paid) participants have voted in EACH group, a silent global timer should begin to count down for 1(one) hour. Any changes to votes in ANY group would reset that timer to start over. This timer should not be triggered if there is less that 1(one) hour remaining of the 2 day(48hrs) period stated above and below.
In the event that the timer is not triggered, the round will take 2 days (48 hrs)
Once the global timer counts down to 0(Zero)the round will end, and results broadcast.
For rounds that have a single (faction-wide) group:
In the event of there being only one eligible participant, that participant shall be elected as the new Elder, and the round shall end immediately.
A New Election may be petitioned for, immediately after the previous election ends.
