Malard has stated that all seed reproduction is based on ecology, so ecology testing kits are important when reproducing seeds.

This seems to be a combination of K=109 plus another factor. Differences between success and failure were: time (extra seeds during the day, none just before dawn), Phosphorous (extra seeds when that was 101-104, not when it was 100), and pH (extra seeds at 7.008 - 7.0240 but not at 7.0000)
