Livestock (camels and sheep) will produce dung, which accumulates in their pens. Wild sheep may also leave a dung if a player attempts to slaughter them with a knife outside the Sheep Pen.
Uses
The main use for dung is the production of saltpeter (which is done in one of the various types of Tub).
It is also used, along with rotten fish, to create Grain Fertilizer in a Kettle.
Dung is also used by a Thistle Garden to generate vitamins.
Although real life pandas defecate up to 40 times per day (even while sleeping) pandas in the game do not produce dung.
