Bauxite is found during a Dig near the eastern border of Egypt (within 1000 coords of the edge, so east of 4200). As the cuttable stones get depleted, the cuttable stones are gradually replaced by bauxite. Bauxite will show up after around 60-70 cuttable stones and will gradually get more common (100% bauxite after ~350 cuttable stones).
Not to be confused with Aluminum Ore. Unlike in the real world, bauxite in ATITD is not used to produce Aluminum.
