Tasks
Tasks provide step-by-step guides to walk players through various technologies, activities and resources.
Currently, the available tasks are:
Passage to Egypt
- New Beginnings
- Solid Progress
- Flax Growing
- Flax Processing
- Building Materials
- Head for Pastures New (Rewards 1 Talent Point)
Initiations
Completing each of these tasks rewards 1 talent point and enables the player to begin any unlocked Tests in the corresponding discipline (at a University of that discipline).
- Architecture: Home Sweet Home
- Art & Music: Art & Music
- Body: Exploration
- Natural Philosophy: Botany aka Natural Philosophy (Also rewards the Botany skill: the ability to eat and harvest herbs)
- Thought: Puzzle in the Night Sky
- Worship: A Simple Offering
Tests
Whenever a new Test is begun, a corresponding Task is started as well. Completion of the Task corresponds with completing the Test, ultimately awarding a total of seven Talent Points. Depending on the Test, progression within the Task can result in the gradual earning of some of these Talent Points before completion. Refer to each individual Test for further details.
