TEEN THRILL SEEKERS - MIDDLE EGYPT

Text from Story: Bernike's School of Body thought it would be a good idea to start an 'outward bound' to get our troubled teenagers busy. One of the 'fun' activities that has really proved popular was geocaching. There are two rival teams who are getting a bit out of hand. Lately cached items have been replaced with rubbish and the team leaders have been fighting in the markets. And, there are now fears that the money they have made from selling their better finds is funding the use of substances that are not good for young minds and bodies.

SBody Supported Activities:

  1. Field Rambles: Hunting for unusual rocks and minerals, gems and natural object
  2. Prospecting / Mudlarking: found items such as discarded metal objects, wood and glass
  3. Tomb Adventures: linen, canvas, jewellery, anything lying around ancient tombs that looks interesting or useful. (Do not enter sealed tombs on pain of banishment.)

Rival Youth Groups:

  • RATS (Khefre's Rats): Leaders - Kefer, Rosten and Ari (tend to stow valuable finds in trees, and under rocks
  • ARTIFACTION (incorporating Pwenet Rockhounds): Leaders - Sedjet, Netankh, Djedt and Bosceput

All Egyptians are asked to keep an eye out for evidence of any wrong-doing, and confiscate any inappropriate items. As the adventure groups are mostly active in Middle Egypt, this is where you are likely to find their caches. If you find one, please report on wiki (Current Events).
