Contemplation Crossing

Goal

Crossing the Contemplation vine with a renamed clone of itself, and watching for signs of a genome subtraction mutation.

Long-term goal is to create a very short vine genome, with a variety genes, to be used in testing drops of Mutagen and mapping their effects.

Starting Point

Contemplation is a 20 gene vine with genomes of KK, QQ, wildS, and a Hue of Light Red

Contemplation Hue is Light Red when examining harvested grapes

• Hue changes to White in 4/72 children
  • gene deleted in 3/4, one tends as KK QQ, two tend as K QQ
  • gene added in 1/4, tends as KK QQ
