Overview
Steam Silt Collectors can only be built on a clay patch near a silt generator. They are built by your Projects menu, under the Steam, *not* in a construction site - though the Silt Collector Encasement is built in a construction site, despite being a portable item and not a building. If you try to build and get the message "You aren't near a good source of clay" then move a few feet toward the center of the silt patch, and try to build again. The final product is not portable, only the Encasement is considered a portable item.
