How to: Set heater to Gradual. Don't worry about the lip and the neck. I've achieved 8.2k with this procedure: Push into the Glory Hole 11 ticks. Turn constantly. Immediately after reaching 11 ticks, begin blowing. While it heats, do at least 5 blows, to expand the center. Move the pipe two ticks in, to let the front heat a bit. Thereafter move the pipe four ticks out, to let the back heat a bit. Pull all the way out. When out, blow until it has the right size. | How to: Set heater to Gradual. Beaker
Requires: 1 Glass Pipe
How to: Set heater to Gradual. Don't worry about the lip. +9k can be achieved with this procedure: Turn constantly. Push into the Glory Hole one tick at a time, letting the rod heat all the way in. When the rod is fully heated, blow three times, then pull the rod back out, making sure that all of the rod is heated, this should not take more than two ticks. When fully out, begin blowing the Beaker to full size. Keep turning it while constantly checking the quality. When you get to q8,5k, begin comparing to the result, to see if it needs another blow or two.
Distillation Coil
Requires: 1 Glass Pipe
How to: Set heater to Pinpoint. Don't worry about the bulb. +8k can be achieved with this procedure: Have patience, and focus on what you are doing. A for push into. N for turn. D for wait for a drop. Begin with: AAAADDANNDDANN. Then repeat this until the bulb is reached: DDANNDDANNDDDAN. When the bulb is reached, pull the pipe all the way out, and use the remaining drops for the pipe to make sure the pipe is as center as possible. When the pipe has stopped dropping, turn until you get the best quality. Now turn it another 360, when turning the pipe, it doesn't do exactly 360, but a bit less. That means the maximum quality might be 5x360 away. Keep turning 360 until the quality drops, then go back to the maximum value quality.

McArines comments: I can recommend the following:
- Experimenting with finding out where the pipe should be positioned at 11 ticks, and just holding down A to push it to that location.
- Blow 6 times instead of 5.
- After two ticks in, give it one more in, and let it heat one tick, and then 5 out.
This gave me a higher percentage of +8k.
Hour Glass
Requires: 1 Glass Rod How to: Set heater to Front Heavy. TBD
Test Tube
Requires: 1 Glass Rod
How to: Set heater to Gradual. Don't worry about the bottom or the tip, +8k can be achieved with this procedure: Turn constantly. Push into the Glory Hole one tick at a time, letting the rod heat all the way in. When the rod is fully heated, either let it stay, or pull it all the way back out, by holding down S. Let the rod cool a bit, until colour seems the same the entire length of the rod. Blow with pauses between each blow, at least 4 times, maybe a fifth, depending on the resulting size.
Thistle Tube
Requires: 1 Glass Pipe
How to: Set heater to Pinpoint. Turn constantly. You want to try to make both the bottom and the bulb. Begin by heating the bottom, blow a couple of times, move the pipe in to heat the bulb. I set my window up, so I can place the chat window, in the right distance to the glory hole, so the end of the pipe just shows, when you should not move it further in. That way you don't have to check the goal to determine if you're far enough into the glory hole. After this it is practice, practice, practice, until you get some good results. But this should at least give you some good advice.
Wine Glass
Requires: 1 Fine Glass Rod
