Glazier's Bench

Soda bench at BBCakes compound

  • Add 2 cc. Allow the temperature to tic up once add 2 cc more (repeat for 5 times for a total of 10cc). (Should test with 4 sets of 8cc.)
  • Once above 3200 melt 1 lime/2 soda/10 sand
  • Once below 2400 degrees select item, keep temp above 1600 degrees
  • This bench drop 170 degrees at a time (170 down)
  • Adding cc seems to be more versatile.
    • You can add 2 cc and increase temp by 60 degrees over 5 tics.
    • You can add 6 cc and increase temp by 174 degrees over 5 tics.
    • You can add 12 cc and increase temp by 348 degrees over 5 tics.
    • Do not add additional cc until degrees start to tic down.
    • No major temperature jumps observed when adding cc.
