The Building Materials task is started upon completion of the Flax Processing task.
The task requires the player to:
- Build a Small Distaff
- Spin Tow into Twine
- Spin Twine into Rope
Completion
Completion of this task begins the Head for Pastures New task.
Hints
To complete Passage to Egypt, you will need a total of 7 Rope. You will therefore need 12 Tow to make the 35 Twine needed to make 7 Rope.
It will take just over 13 minutes to turn 12 Tow into 36 Twine, and just under 7 minutes to turn 35 Twine into 7 Rope.
Whilst waiting for the Small Distaff to work, you may want to make 100 Bricks, 58 Boards and have on hand 110 Wood for the next task.
