Simple Text formatting markup
Just above the edit window are 9 buttons to quickly apply the following formatting:
Either click the button to insert a sample placeholder where you can then type what you need, or you can highlight some pre-written text and click the button to change the selection.

Paragraphs
MediaWiki ignores normal line breaks. To start a new paragraph, leave an empty line. You can also start a new line with the HTML tags <br> or <br/>.

Some HTML tags are allowed in MediaWiki, for example <code>, <div>, <span> and <font>.
