Testing methodology
Perform a set of ecological tests at the start of a mushroom spawn and record the values. Wait until the end of the mushroom spawn. Perform another set of ecological tests. Record the data and any additional observations during testing. Do not plant crops or perform any actions that might separately change the ecology during your test. The goal is to find the conditions that attract the mushrooms and the effects the mushrooms have on the ecology.
