Tale 11 Hor-em-akhet
Shabti Dolls
Shabti moulds are made from a medium stone at a Mason's bench, and become a permanent upgrade to a kiln. One Clay and one Small Quartz are fired in a kiln to become one Faience. At any type of glaziers bench, the Faience is "coated" in glass, taking 90 seconds and 1bb of melted glass. (Glass dust is not needed as is specified in the test writeup), this becomes a Shabti Doll. Relief Carving Rank 0 is bought from the School of Architecture costs 25 Shabti Dolls. Relief Carving 0 (in the icon menu) lets you cut 4 wood into a Low Relief Carving (with a standard focus carving timer). Relief Carving 1 requires 100 Shabti Dolls and 100 Low Relief Carvings and teaches you to carve in High Relief (from a Silicified Sandstone Block). Incidentally, the next rank of Relief Carving asks for 1 High Relief Carving and *500* Shabti dolls.
Carving a High Relief on a silicified sandstone block has a progress bar on the block displayed in percentage, and triggers DEX and FOC timers (Dex being longer duration - 1m 30s at 4 dex). Amount of progress made each click appears to vary.
- Note* - It appears High Relief Carvings are not in fact 3 per block as specified in the original test idea, but rather 1 per block - which accounts for the number required dropping to ~1/3 the original cost.
