Contemplation Crossing

Goal

Crossing the Contemplation vine with a renamed clone of itself, and watching for signs of a genome subtraction mutation.

Long-term goal is to create a very short vine genome, with a variety genes, to be used in testing drops of Mutagen and mapping their effects.

Starting Point

Contemplation is a 20 gene vine with genomes of QQ, KK, wildS, and a Hue of Light Red

Peacefulness#19 is a mutation of Contemplation, with gene #3 or #4 deleted.
Its genome yields tends of Q and KK with a Hue of Light Red.

Results Summary

• Peacefulness #18 is QQ KK wildS and Light Red Hue. 5/52 chance of a gene deleted
• Peacefulness #19 is Q KK wildS.
  • There are seven possibilities of genes that could be deleted to give this result, resulting in 5 unique genomes.
  • First revelation solvent application (Minu's) showed inconclusive results. Still 5 genome possibilities.
  • Second Minu's application shows that either gene #3 or gene #4 was deleted. Genome of Peacefulness #19 is:

• tend 1: matches on QQ and KK. Can't tell on wildS/S, but all possibilities with S are single Q
• tend 2: same as tend 1
• tend 3: matches on KK and wildS. Can't tell on QQ
• tend 4: same as tend 3
• tend 5: matches on wildS. Can't tell on QQ and KK
• Hue is Light Red.
