Brick Machines are an automated method of producing Bricks, Wet Firebricks, and Wet Clay Bricks. Contrary to what the model, animation and sound might indicate, they use no fuel to run.
Cost
- 50 Boards
- 40 Concrete
- 40 Bearings
- 4 Iron Bars
- 4 Copper Sheeting
- 4 Brass Small Gear
- 2 Iron Medium Gear
The Brick Machine can hold materials sufficient to make 300 Bricks, Firebricks, or Clay Bricks per run.
It can hold: 200 clay, 150 mud, 100 sand, 250 silt and 100 straw.
Upgrade 1 cost
- 4 Copper Sheeting
- 300 Concrete
- 50 Board
This (likely) enables the Brick Machine to hold materials sufficient to make 900 Bricks, Firebricks, or Clay Bricks per run.
Upgrade 2 cost
- 20 Steel Sheeting
- 500 Concrete
- 150 Board
This enables the Brick Machine to hold a maximum of 900 Mud, 1200 Clay, 600 Sand, 1500 Silt, and 600 Straw. This is sufficient to produce 1800 Bricks, Firebricks, or Clay Bricks per run. (Can you tell which level mine was on when I wrote this?)
Other Upgrades
Brick Machines may be tuned using the Mechanics skill to run more quickly, and upgraded by installing a Springbox to run faster still.
