NOTE: Despite being learned from a University, this technology requires a tuition of 4 Tar.

Uses

Allows the building of several ships of varying size like the Ferry Boat and Long-Range Ferry (which let one cross small bodies of water)
Once the Test of Isis' Bounty is opened, it will also allow the building of Small Sailboats and Master Schooners.

Research Costs

Levels

This skill is raised half through standard exping, half through unlocks.
Before the Test of Isis' Bounty is opened, it is capped at 2 and leveled by making sails.
Once opened, specific advancement in the test give you unlocks to more levels.

Notes :

Fishing a Ship Debris will make you gain knowledge of Shipwright 3.
Submitting a Ship Debris to a University of Body for identification that turns out to be a piece of Isis' Bounty will make you gain knowledge of Shipwright 4.
1. Submit this piece of debris (1 Fragment of the Gilded Outer Hull - Can be fished anywhere) and unlock Shipwright 4 before building your Small Ship, so that your ship building xp will not be wasted
2. Tried it. Didn't work. Possible that the debris was fished up before I started the test.
Building a Master Schooner will make you gain knowledge of Shipwright 5 and 6.
