Template:Map Marker/doc

{{Map Marker}} generates a map marker for use with the {{CondMap}} template.

Usage

| icon   = 
| name   = 
| region = 
| coords = 
| info   = 
}}

icon

The icon that should be used for the map marker. See the documentation for the {{CondMap}} template for help selecting a marker. Technically optional but you'll pretty much always want to choose an appropriate icon for your marker.

name

The name/label for the marker.

region

The region in which the marker belongs. Technically optional but should be always be included if possible.

coords

The coordinates at which the marker should be placed.

info (optional)

Any additional info that should be included with the marker (e.g. nearby buildings to assist with mining).

With All Parameters

results in:

Without Info Parameter

results in:

(GrL) 437, -6010, Limestone<br>Blue Nile - (437, -6010)

Without Icon Parameter

{{Map Marker|name=READ - The Wiki Guild|region=Upper Egypt|coords=829, -1833}}

results in:

(Cir) 829, -1833, READ - The Wiki Guild<br>Upper Egypt (829, -1833)
