Twine is rough Flax cord spun from Tow (in contrast to Thread which is spun from Lint). Twine is usually spun further into Rope or woven into Canvas, but it also has other uses.

- Each use of a student loom breaks some strings, which requires 1-60 twine to restring the loom.
