Felipe and Jack

Camp of Felipe and Jack, adrift in a strange land. Day 1

Location : Thebes (681, 682)
Prize : 2 Ink, 5 Scorpion Brood Mushroom
Inspect :This camp appears to be abandoned by two sailors. A quick search reveals two names: Felipe and Jacques. A scoll in the nearby basket catches your attention. It is simply marked Day 1.
Message : Day 1. We must get to the city to the east. I hear the residents pay handsomely for these mushrooms. It can't be far away. Jacques and I must provide for (page missing). Signed Felipe.

Abandonned Camp of Felipe and Jack. Day 2

Location : Thebes (1062, 712)
Prize : 5 Gypsum, 20 Camels Mane Mushroom
Inspect : A merchant's barrel lies half buried in the desert sand. Some mushrooms look to be half eaten by an undetermined animal. Protruding from a rip in the sack is a partial note that begins with Day 2. After reading the note, you notice human and animal footprints to the east. You decide not to investigate the scene to the east.
Message : Day 2. We have failed. We have drifted too far. I fear the strange beast following me......(damaged page)... Jacques said he was going back to the river and heading south. He thought (more damaged pages) help me. Felipe

Location : Thebes (593, 317)
Prize : 5 Iron Bars, 1 Silver
Inspect : A half hidden chest with a burnt candle piques your interest. Written on the chest with wax is, "Day 3". You open the chest and read the message.
Message : Day 3, Jacques here. Poor Felipe. He died holding his mushrooms. I can still hear his screams.Those scream were hedious. I must press on. Please tell me the city is close by. I must pay for the proper burial for my dear friend Felipe. I must head east. I see lights to the east.

Camp of Jacques the Sailor. Day 4

Location : Thebes (1210, 212)
Prize : 10 Glass Jars
Inspect :A quick inspection reveals that the camp is likely the final camp of Jacques. A search reveals nothing of interest. As you walk away, you uncover a body that is half covered in sand. A scroll is found nearby in the sand. The faint writing contains the number 4. You decide to open the scroll and read the message.
Message : Day 4. I am hopelessly lost in this arid place. I will make my camp here and climb the cliffs. If I haven't returned, I fear that I will have become falcon food.Jacques

Message : I awoke this morning refreshed. I was found by some Minions from the land of Hiccups, or Slack Offs. I was disoriented. I can't be sure. I am being taken to the camp of a man named Driller.

Inspect : The camp contains the body a man, a tent, and other items. After searching the contents of the camp, you stumble upon a note written by Sylvestre. It appears to be the last page of his diary.
Message : I should have listened to the Kushite in Drillers camp. I was warned of the treachery. I should have made my escape. But now, I am afraid I have met my doom.

Camp of Antonius - Day 1

Inspect : No Inspect.
Message : I must find and label all the recovered stores. Oh and make note of the men who survived the crash. I managed to launch a skiff and almost made it to shore intact. I saw sharks circling Matias but i hit a rock trying to get to him! I had to head for shore or be shark food myself.

Message : Seawater...will never get that taste outta me mouth! It mixed in with some of me fresh water supply I drug wi' me. Can't carry all those. Left some.

Went fishin. Lots of flotsam ended up on the shore near me so drug it over together. Good thing there was a kettle so I could make a fish tartar. Chef taught me that dish.

Sheep here are really friendly. Weird thing. Found an onion and here comes this wooly fluffball, trotted right up to me. Oh well, will have some beef jerky for travelin' at least.

I spied some green hills west of here. Hope there's fresh water there. Diego the Devil scribbled this. Day 1

Why I'm a regular pied piper I am! Got camels comin' to camp too. Mebbe I can wrangle a ride on one.

Mornin' again. Kinda went grocery shoppin' at a nearby home then hightailed it last night. Got so much stuff I can't take it all wi' me. Think I see a big stream eastish.

In the meantime, if the rest of me crew is croaked I think I might jes stake out a claim at this abandoned place.

Me 'livestock' seems to want to keep near me, too. Nice li'l pond fer fresh water. Ain't so bad bein' lost. But if'n ye find me, I will hereby reward ye wi' some pretty gems.

Message : This sheltered cove will do for now. Too weak to move further. At least there is wood and fish here. Moritz

Some camel traders passed by and camped with us overnight. They will take us along the creek to get the big river that runs east of us. Their rough medicine and strong spirits have worked miracles! Hope Stephano comes back with some duck for dinner! Tommorow we rise at dawn. Theo

Inspect :Among the debris is a battered jug. Tucked inside the jug is a parchment titled, "Day 1 of the Adventures of Augusto."
Message : I, Augusto, have decided that my need for survival is greater than greed. Even so, I am sure greed is playing a part in my decision. I have faked an injury and sent Paulo and Leonardo to the east. I will take the river south.

Inspect : Nailed to one of the boards is a sheet of paper. It is a bit tattered but it is clearly titled, "Day 2 of the Adventures of Augusto.""
Message : I am beginning to doubt my decision. My distrust of the others is affecting my conscience. Now I think I will follow the river to the northeast. Maybe I can intercept the others.

Overturned cooking pot. Augusto Day 3

Location : Meshwesh Delta (1022, 7165)

Inspect : The makeshift camp contains a cook pot and some hollow iron pipes. As you inspect the pipes, a paper falls to the ground. The title catches your eye. It simply reads, "Day 3 of the Adventures of Augusto."
Message : I have been without water for a few days, I see the others ahead. I must rejoin them to the northeast.

Inspect : The desert heat has made the body of the sailor almost unrecognizable. Near the body is a scroll which appears to by the dieing words of the sailor. You are able to read the name, "Augusto."

Augusto is separated from the others. The label is misleading.

Camp of Augusto, Paulo and Leonardo. Day 2

Location : Meshwesh Delta (999, 7404)
Prize : 50 Cabbage, 5 Cat Nip Mushrooms, 30 Onions
Inspect : The camp is recent. The vegetables are relatively fresh. The sack contains odds and ends. The trinkets belong to Leonardo and Paulo. A note catches your eye. It is written by Leonardo. It appears to be the first page of a diary.
Message : On our first night separated from Augusto, we are suspicious. We suspect he was faking his injury. I have a secret map that I must follow. But it is missing a portion and I can't find the missing part. Is it with Augusto? Or did it have to do with the northward footprints in the sand?.

Inspect : The camp shows signs of haste. It was created quickly and torn down. Some items were left behind. In the sack was a note from Leonardo. It is clearly the second page of a diary.
Message : I snuck out last night to see if I could find Augusto. He is a slippery one. After searching this area for what I thought was hours, I returned to Paulo and in the morning, we continued east.

Inspect : The tent is clean, save for a solitary scroll. The scroll is half buried in the sand. Upon reading the scroll, you recognize the handwriting of Leonardo. The scroll is the third page of his diary."
Message : We are continuing to head east. Our supplies are low. We hope for food and water soon.

Location : Meshwesh Delta (1161, 7413)
Prize : 3 Sheet Glass
Inspect : The debris is clearly from a shipwreck A food supply drum and canvas aren't usable. One item, however, is of special interest to you. It is a glass jar containing the 4th page of the diary written by Leonardo.
Message : After arriving at another river, we decide to head southwest. Certainly, Augusto is faring better than us. We will steal his food and leave him behind for good this time.

Inspect : You stumble upon the hastily dug graves of two sailors. The half buried box contains the last page of Leonardo's diary. It is with sadness that you realize that you are looking at the final resting place of Leonardo and Paulo.
Message : We...... hear...... someone......calling.......for......help. We.....stay.....silent....as.....our......supples.....are.....gone.....and.....we....can't....help...anyway.

Inspect : Drops of blood are on the ground and items are bit scattered at this camp. Broken bottle bits lay outside the tent. Scuff marks are in the dirt."
Message : Jules Day 2 That chicken Frenchie, Jean Claude! Just stood by while that crazy lunatic, Antione beat me silly after we started drinkin! Bruises all over. I hope they both rot! Stomped off away from them to the northeast towards some mountains...

The crash and tearing of the hull woke me, ! realized the ship was sinking fast! I couldnt grab anything but the knifes i was sharpening from the kitchen and a basket of cabbage. I found some jugs but they are all full of salwater.

Achilles day 1
This herb is exactly what Valentine wants. I must find him again but the sand has swept away my tracks. I thought i saw some rat footprints yesterday. They must have made it off the ship with us.
