Cucumber is a type of vegetable. In T9 they can occasionally be found growing wild like herbs, watermelons, and peppers.
To grow cucumber, plant a Cucumber Seed in a grassy area. Water the plant immediately, and water it again each time it changes size. Harvest once the option appears.

Tl;dr: Cucumbers produce seeds when grown near an invisible PapyrusGenerator object. How close they have to be to the generator, is dependent on the Genome of the seed.
