A Metal Scythe is a tool used for gathering grass along with a Papyrus Basket. The quality of the scythe is determined by the quality of the Scythe Blade used in its construction. It is likely that better quality scythes improve the amount of grass gathered at once. The amount of grass gathered with a scythe given scythe per action may be limited by your current level of the Grass Harvesting skill.
The metal scythe is an upgrade from the slate or glass scythes.
