A chemical bath is used to treat metal.

Sources

This building becomes available after you have learned the Metal Treatment tech.

Cost

Built in a Compound. Uses 16x30 cells.

Use

Produces Treated Metal

Removing metal without using Tongs requires the acid to be emptied. Using tong prevents acid loss.

A public Chemical Bath can only be emptied by the owner.

May be upgraded with a pair of Tongs, allowing you to remove metal from the tank without having a pair of Tongs in inventory.

Information Screens

Note

When treating unplated metal the plating must not get too high, or the metal will disappear when you take it out of the tank. I am not sure whether this is a bug or not.
