The fleet furnace only has one purpose, to make Quicksilver, unlike regular Furnaces which only smelts Metal Ore:Ore

Use
Makes Quicksilver, very slowly.
The furnace uses 20 Charcoal and 10 Red Sand. After 24 hours it produces 1 Quicksilver.
